Long long time ago, there was a prince from Palembang named Parameswara, who is both ambitious and courageous. He was out hunting on a one fine day when he saw one of his hunting dog was kick by a small mouse-deer (known as "Pelanduk" in Malay). This small creature's bravery impressed him and he thought, "this must be a sign from God that this place shall be my new kingdom". He decided to name the place "Melaka", after the tree where the mouse-deer bravely kicked and killed his hunting dog, and from then, Malaysia's first state was founded. It was 1400.

Two mouse-deers and Melaka tree are the symbols of Malacca state logo today. |
Since her first founder, Malacca has gone through a lot of different culture influence from both West and East. Malacca has been declared by UNESCO as part of the
World Heritage List, alongside with Penang's George Town. She is another tourist destination hot spot in Malaysia.
Since setting up our business in Malaysia, we are not only working, but we get to learn and understand Malaysia's culture and history more. Malacca is the very first role model that shows multicultural people living harmoniously since more than 500 years ago. We are proud to be part of this culture in Malaysia.
