How to Purikura? – Cat & Leopard

Before taking pictures

1. Insert token or scan your arcade card. (Depends on which location you are in)
2. Before you start your photo shoot, the kawaii narrator of this purikura machine will tell you which Rakugaki (editing) Corner (Black corner or White corner) your photos will be sent to after the session. 

Taking Pictures (first round)

1. Choose effect options – Sweet Neko or Cool Hyou.
   
   

Sweet Neko (Sweet Kitty / ふんわり)

• Soft facial shading effect with a pastel colour background.
• Natural big eyes effect with a soft black eyeliner.

Cool Hyou (Cool Panther / くっきり)

• Sharp facial shading effect with a flashy colour background
• Natural big eyes effect with a dramatic black eyeliner.
  
  

2. After that, Skin Tone selection will pop up on the screen.
   
   

Choose 1 out of the 5 Skin Tone options given

Tanned, medium tanned, recommended (natural), medium light, light

3. Then followed by frame option. Choose between with frame or no frame.
4. Choose your favourite 3 backgrounds (refer to the samples below).
5. Strike your pose 3 times!

Taking Pictures (second round)

1. Choose your favourite 3 backgrounds.
2. Strike your pose again 3 times.

PS: If you are lucky, you will get another BONUS shot!

→Move to the Editing corner once done.

1. First, choose the layout of your photos (for two people or for group). Your photos will be printed out according to the layout you chose.

2. Start decorating your photos. 
   Tips:
   • Do not be afraid to explore the editing and decorating tools given – simply click on the screen tab to choose any one of the many types of editing and decorating tools.
   • Do not afraid if you make mistakes because you can always undo your work by hitting the BACK tab or click the eraser icon on the screen.
   • Once done editing the first photo, you can change to the next photos by clicking the “change photos” tab.
     
     
3. Once done decorating, click END tab. 
   Extra info:
   • Did you know that each Rakugaki corner gets a maximum of 5mins to do your photo editing? Well, now you know! (Hush, hush, don’t tell the maker that we told you this secret)
     
     
4. You hit the end tab to end your photo editing session, don’t leave! Play a mini card game first while waiting for your photos to be printed out.

5. Once the game time’s up, you are now ready to collect your photos at the Print Corner!
