How to Purikura? – Bijo Cosme

Before taking pictures

1. Insert token or scan your arcade card.
2. First, pay attention to the screen because it tells you which Rakugaki (Editing) Corner (Lime Green or Peach Pink) your photos will be sent to after the session.

1. Choose effect: Funwari (Soft) and Kukkiri (Sharp).

Japanese words of the day:

·   Funwari (ふんわり)－Soft and gentle

·   Kukkiri （くっきり）－Sharp and bold

Which would you be? Funwari or Kukkiri?

2. Choose your eye size option ---> Hademe or Natural.

Hademe - Bold eyes

Natural - Natural

*Hint: Try hademe to let your eyes do the talking.

3. Choose skin tone.

Choose 1 out of the 5 Skin Tone options given

Tan, Medium Tan, Natural, Medium Light, Light

4. Next, choose how your first round of photos you want them to be taken à “Without Frames” or “With Frames”.

Tips: How to choose your design background?

·         Without frame – you get to roam free on how and what to pose, and you get lots of space to scribble at the Rakugaki Corner.

·         With frame – Get to be creative in posing based on your selected frame’s theme, you don’t necessary need to do anymore touch up during Rakugaki time.

5. Choose your favourite 3 backgrounds.

6. Take your pictures in front of your chosen 3 backgrounds.

1. Then, Choose 3 more backgrounds again.
2. Ready, get set and SNAP!

→ Move to Rakugaki Corner once done. (Remember where you supposed to go?)

1. Choose layout. Photos will be printed out according to that. 

2. Start decorating your photos. 

Tips: You can change your hair colour manually! Simply tap on “Hair Color & Sparkle” like this.

3. Once done decorating, click END tab.

Example: you get to choose which photo to enlarge depending on the layout chosen.

4. Last but not least, move to Print Corner and play mini matching puzzle game while waiting for your photo to be printed out.

Finally, your Purikura is ready to become your keepsake.
