This summer, let’s sneak into Tokyo Disneyland to take a peek and maybe learn one or two tricks from them to protect your skin from harmful UV rays in style.
Hooded Towel
The Japanese love their greenery. They bring handkerchiefs wherever they go to wipe their sweat, instead of using tissue. Since summer is so hot, HoT, HOT, they like to bring along their big towels. Since a big towel can’t fit into a small bag, they turn their towels into hoodies! The way, they get to protect their fair skin from harmful UV rays while enjoying the summer sunshine.
Smart way to protect their skin and even smarter to turn a boring big towel into “I can’t leave home without you” accessory.
Look at them, so cuteeeee***
Arm Warmer
To have a fun day out at Tokyo Disneyland, one shall arm with things to protect your skin from getting burnt. That’s why don’t be surprised when you see so many people walking around with arm warmers on. They seem to prefer black and grey more. Easier to mix match I think.
Japanese LOVE their umbrella, whether when it rains or shines. To them, umbrella is important to protect them from getting wet AND to protect them from getting direct sunlight. So don’t be surprised to see people holding umbrella in Tokyo Disneyland.
This has nothing to do with sun protection, but I find it interesting to see so many people wear the same outfit together here! It’s not weird, but Malaysians re just not big fans to do this even with our besties.
I just love seeing groups of teen and couples wearing the same outfits together to Tokyo Disneyland. I think they actually plan their outing theme. Cute friendship forever.
Meanwhile, in Malaysia…
The only people I see in Malaysia who will protect their skin from hot sun are these people.

Everyone so matchy in Japan! I didn't know the big towel thing was a thing, it looks adorable in the Minnie mouse version.
